1. No Collection or Storage of Biometric Data
Longbridge does not collect, store, transmit, or access your biometric identifiers. All biometric data used for authentication is encrypted, stored, and matched solely on your device by the operating system (e.g., Apple iOS, Google Android). Longbridge never receives a copy of your biometric information.
2. Authorization to Use Device-Based Authentication
By enabling Biometric Login, you authorize your device to confirm your identity to Longbridge for the limited purpose of granting access to your account. Your device provides Longbridge only with a confirmation or denial of authentication.
3. Optional Feature / Ability to Disable
Biometric Login is entirely optional. You may enable or disable this feature at any time through your device or app settings. Disabling Biometric Login will require you to use your username, password, or other login credentials to access your account.
4. User Responsibility for Device Security
You are responsible for ensuring that only your biometric data is registered on your device, that your device is secured with a passcode, and that you notify Longbridge immediately if your device is lost, stolen, or compromised. Longbridge is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from additional biometric profiles registered by others.
5. No Impact on Identity Verification Requirements
Biometric Login does not replace legally required identity-verification processes such as KYC, CIP, or Reg S-ID controls. Longbridge may require additional verification methods at any time.
6. Device and Operating System Limitations
Because biometric authentication is handled by your device, Longbridge cannot guarantee the availability, functionality, or security of biometric features. Longbridge is not responsible for errors, failures, or vulnerabilities within third-party devices, operating systems, or biometric technology.
7. Changes to This Agreement
Longbridge may update this Biometric Authentication Agreement from time to time. Continued use of Biometric Login constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
