This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services provided by Longbridge including the Longbridge mobile device applications (“App”), and the Longbridge websites. By accessing or using our services, systems, website, and apps (the “Services”), you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy, and our Practices and Terms of Service. Some Services may have additional privacy guidance, and in addition to this Privacy Policy, we will also follow such additional privacy guidance to protect your privacy.
This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share your information across our website, App, SMS, APIs, email notifications, software applications, buttons, and our other covered services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”). When using any of our Services you consent to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure, and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. This includes any information you choose to provide that is deemed sensitive under applicable law. This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and us.
When this policy mentions “we” or “us,” it refers to Longbridge as the controller of your information under this policy. Irrespective of which country you live in, you authorize us to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States, and any other country in which we operate. 1. How we collect and use your personal information
When you use our products and/or services, your personal information may be collected and used in the following scenarios:
a. Information that you provide when you create an account.
When you choose to create a Longbridge account with your email address or mobile phone number, we will collect this kind of contact information. We may send emails, text messages, or push notifications to you. You may follow the relevant notice to unsubscribe related services.
When you register Longbridge with your existing Google account, Facebook account or other third-party accounts, we will obtain your personal information from the third party, such as your images, your nickname or username.
If you do not have a Longbridge account or use Longbridge without a login, you will not be regarded as a client of Longbridge. There will be no business relationship between you and Longbridge when you use Longbridge without a login.
You can also add or link your mobile phone numbers, email addresses, third-party accounts with your existing Longbridge account. We will collect such additional information so you can log in Longbridge with them too.
b. When you use our Services, we may automatically collect and store your usage information of Longbridge products and services. This kind of usage information includes but is not limited to how you access our services, your actions on the Services, including your interactions with others on the Services, photos or media you upload to the Services, and other content you provide (“Usage Information”).
c. We’ll only access your device camera and photo album with your permission when you want to upload photos onto the Longbridge help center, update your account profile image, or post photos in the Longbridge Community.
d. Longbridge also collects certain categories of Sensitive Personal Information—such as government identification numbers and financial account information—which are used solely for identity verification, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and servicing your account.
e. We’ll only access your device microphone with your permission when you want to use a voice command to search stocks or place a trade.
f. We will only access your device calendar with your permission when you want to add alerts or economic data to your calendars.
g. Due to anti-money laundering obligations and in accordance with laws and regulations, when you apply for a trading account, you will be asked to provide your identity information including name, nationality, country of legal residence, ID number, email address, resident address, marital status, and date of birth. We may also ask you to upload a copy of a government-issued photo identification.
2. How we use cookies and similar technologies
For your cookies in website services, you can manage the content settings as you prefer, and most browsers give you the ability to manage cookie features. At the same time, you can enable a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) feature so that you will not be tracked through the use of cookies. Please see our Cookie Policy for additional information.
3. How we share, transfer and publicly disclose your information
We do not disclose your private personal information except in the limited circumstances described here.
Service Providers: We engage service providers to perform functions and provide certain services. For example, we use a variety of third-party services to help us understand and improve the use of our Services, such as Google Analytics. We may share your personally identifiable information (“PII”) with such service providers subject to obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures, and on the condition that the third parties use your PII data only on our behalf and pursuant to our instructions. We share your payment information and billing address with payment services providers to process certain payments; prevent, detect and investigate fraud or to prevent and detect other prohibited activities.
Law, Regulation, and Government: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, we may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or regulatory or governmental request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect our or our users’ rights or property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third party’s, including a government’s, request to disclose your information.
Business Transfers and Affiliates: In the event that we are involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. This Privacy Policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity. We may also disclose information about you to our corporate affiliates in order to help provide, understand, and improve our Services and our affiliates’ services.
Public Information: We may share or disclose your public information, such as your public user profile information, and public comments.
4. SMS Messages
If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Longbridge related to your account, transactions, and promotional content, as permitted by law. We value your privacy and will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile number to third parties for their marketing purposes. Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us, such as purchases, preferences, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan and any charges are your responsibility. We only collect the information that is necessary to operate our services and comply with all applicable TCPA regulations and the National Do Not Call Registry. We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators as required; however, we challenge any overbroad requests for user data and notify users of any legal process, giving you the chance to defend your rights. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable state laws. To exercise any of these rights, you may contact us at support@longbridge.com. We will verify your identity and respond as required under applicable law. If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, or other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, please contact us for information about how to exercise these privacy rights. 5. How we protect your Information
We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your personal information. We take all reasonable security measures to protect your information against loss, improper use, unauthorized access or disclosure. We will work within the reasonable security standards and use a variety of security measures to protect the security of information. We have established a specialized management, process and organization system to ensure information security. For example, we strictly restrict the employees who can access information, requiring them to provide unique authentications to access information and comply with their confidentiality obligations and conduct audits.
We have established an emergency response plan. If there is a security breach involving the personal information of our users, we will activate the emergency response plan to prevent the expansion of such security incident and take appropriate measures to inform you In the event of a cybersecurity incident that results in the unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of customer information, we will promptly investigate the matter and take appropriate remedial action. Customers whose information may have been affected will be notified in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Such notification may include details regarding the nature of the incident, the types of information involved, steps we have taken to address the issue, and recommended actions customers can take to protect themselves.
Longbridge will notify affected individuals of any unauthorized access to customer information as required under the amended SEC Regulation S-P, typically within 30 days unless law enforcement requests a delay.
Longbridge also maintains and enforces a written Identity Theft Prevention Program (ITPP) in accordance with SEC Regulation S-ID.
6. Notice to California Residents
If you are a California resident, please see below details about the personal information we collect about California residents and the rights afforded to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
Subject to certain limitations and exceptions, the CCPA provides California residents the following right:
1. The ability to request a covered business disclose the detailed personal information we collect;
2. The opt-out of the sale of personal information, if applicable. We do not sell personal information;
3. The option to control and delete personal information. Longbridge also gives everyone the option to delete cookies from visits to our products and websites. To do so, please contact our customer services at support@longbridge.com.
4. Not be discriminated against for exercising rights they have under CCPA.
In accordance with California law, we will not share information we collect about you with nonaffiliates except as allowed by law. For example, we may share information with your consent or to service your accounts. Among our affiliates, we will limit information sharing to the extent required by California law.
For exercising CCPA specific rights, please contact our customer support team at: support@longbridge.com. We may verify the request by asking you to provide information that matches information we have on file about you. You can also designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf, but we will require proof that the person is authorized to act on your behalf and may also still ask you to verify your identity with us directly.
7. Notice to Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah
If you are a resident in any of these four states, you have additional rights to access, delete, and correct your personal information, which may be exercised by contacting support@longbridge.com.
8. Accessing and Modifying Your Personal Information
If you are a registered user of our Services, we provide you with tools and account settings to access, correct, delete, or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account. You can download certain account information, including your Portfolios.
You can also permanently delete your Longbridge App. When your accounts have been deactivated, your account, including your name, username, and public profile, is not viewable on Longbridge App. For up to 30 days after deactivation it is still possible to restore your account if it was accidentally or wrongfully deactivated. Absent a separate arrangement between you and us to extend your deactivation period, after 30 days, we begin the process of deleting your account from our systems, which can take up to a week.
Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, such as your posts and comments in the Longbridge Community, even after you have deleted the information from the Longbridge Application or deactivated your account.
9. How we protect minors’ information
The Services are not directed to children, we do not intentionally collect information from children, and we request that children not provide any personal information to us. If you have any concerns about your child's privacy, please contact us. We will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible should we learn that we have unintentionally collected personal information from your child without your consent.
10. How does your information move globally
Since our products and services are available throughout the world, after obtaining your authorization and consent, your personal information may be transferred to the country or region where you use our product and services, and you will be deemed to accept their jurisdiction over your information. Such jurisdictions may have different data protection laws, and certain jurisdictions offer less protection than others. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal information is adequately and equally protected. For example, we will request your consent for cross-border transfer of personal information or implement security measures such as data de-identification before cross-border data transfer.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information. If we make any change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will update the policy on the Longbridge website without a separate notification sent to you. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
All services of Longbridge are subject to this Privacy Policy, however, some services have their own specific privacy guidance/statement. Some specific privacy guidance/statement describe how we process your information in the service more specifically. If this Privacy Policy is inconsistent with the privacy guidance/statement of a particular service, the privacy policy of that particular service shall prevail.

Updates to this Privacy Policy
Longbridge reserves the right to update and change this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example, to reflect any changes to how Longbridge processes your Personal Information or changing legal requirements. In case of any such changes, Longbridge will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Longbridge website or otherwise publish it. The changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on the Longbridge website.
